David Kim, MD
PM&R / Pain Washington DC MetroDavid Kim, MD is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine. He completed residency training at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Kim previously founded and led the Interventional Pain Management Division at Blue Ridge Orthopedics in Warrenton, Virginia, where he served as a partner for nearly 20 years. He subsequently relocated his practice to Northern Virginia, where he continues to focus on the interventional management of spine-related, musculoskeletal, and neuropathic pain conditions.
His clinical interests include fluoroscopically guided spine procedures, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve and joint interventions, regenerative medicine including platelet-rich plasma therapy, medical acupuncture, and electrodiagnostic medicine. His practice emphasizes evidence-based interventions, functional restoration, and individualized treatment planning.
