John Hee Won, M.D., is a board-certified urologist and respected physician leader with a longstanding record of clinical, academic, and organizational contributions. He currently serves as Medical Director of JSMK Urology PC and has led John H. Won Urology PC for over two decades, providing comprehensive urologic care in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Won is affiliated with leading institutions, including Weill Cornell Medicine, where he holds the appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology, and Northwell Lenox Hill Hospital, where he serves as an Attending Physician.

Dr. Won has played a prominent leadership role in the Korean American Medical Association (KAMA), having served multiple terms as President and previously as Chairman of the Board of Directors. His sustained involvement reflects a deep commitment to advancing professional collaboration, mentorship, and community engagement among Korean American physicians.

He received his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, completed graduate studies at Columbia University, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College. His postgraduate training included general surgery and urology residency at New York Medical College, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Won holds active medical licenses in New York and New Jersey and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology.
