Welcome Message from KAMA President

Dear Members,

It is a great honor and privilege for me to serve as KAMA president in 2016.

I would like to extend my deep appreciation to all physicians of Korean heritage who have contributed for their time and effort over the last four decades on behalf of KAMA.

Since I was a medical student when I attended the 4th joint convention of KAMA and KMA in Seoul, it has always been my great pleasure to meet KAMA friends and to participate in annual conventions. Now the 42nd Annual Convention and Scientific Program will be held on August 4-6th, 2016 at Dolce Palisades IBM Conference Center in New York, located 20 minutes from midtown Manhattan. The purpose of this meeting is to unite all physicians of Korean heritage to interact and to facilitate their needs in practice, research, academic and professional careers. More than several hundred physicians and health professionals worldwide are expected to participate in this Convention and Scientific Program.

We will have three days of scientific programs in oncology, genomic & precision medicine, emerging healthcare technology & informatics, diseases of the elderly, pain management, and numerous ‘state-of-the-art’ lectures by experts in specific medical fields. There will be several forums to discuss important issues, such as ethnic disparity and community and global outreach.

Please feel free to contact Sun Lee, executive director, at 201-567-1434 or  info@kamaus.org regarding membership, registration or other special requests.

We look forward to your participation and support.
