Yanghee Woo, M.D., is an internationally recognized expert in robotic surgery and gastric cancer. Uniquely trained and experienced in minimally invasive complex cancer operations, she offers her patients completely robotic-assisted stomach and pancreas cancer operations. She combines the best of surgical innovation and medical science to bring individualized comprehensive cancer care to each of her patients.


Dr. Woo is committed to finding a cure for patients with gastric cancer through her research. Her research includes development of novel oncolytic viral therapies, methods of early detection in high-risk populations, surgical application of innovative technologies, and identification of biomarkers for better treatment planning. As a renowned lecturer, she has contributed numerous peer-reviewed articles and authored several textbooks.
