Brice Choi, MD

KAMA Board Chair 2016-2017

Dr. Brice Choi has been serving as a KAMA board member since 2011 and was the chairman of KAMA board from 2015 to 2017. He was also the president of the Korean Medical Association of Georgia from 2005 to 2007.

Dr. Brice Choi grew up in Seoul, South Korea. After graduating high school in Korea, he immigrated to the United States of America with his family. He earned a Physics degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he also underwent the US Air Force ROTC program.

Following graduation from MIT, he went to Baylor College of Medicine for medical school and Neurology residency. He has additional training in a Neuroimaging fellowship.

He returned to the US Air Force Medical Corp, serving as an assistant professor, Chief of Neuroimaging service and the Deputy Director of Clinical Support Division of Dept of Neurology at Uniformed Services University of Health Science (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland, simultaneously conducting MRI research at the NIH and teaching Neurology residents at Bethesda National Navy Medical Center. After 15 years of military service, he was honorably discharged as Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force.

Since then, he has been running a private practice clinic, Pain Center and MRI center, specializing in Neurology, Interventional Pain management, Neurophysiology and Neuroimaging in the Atlanta, GA region. He has been an active proponent of KAMA providing a platform of unity and growth for second generation Korean American professionals.
